Welcome to the Viridian Wiki, the lore and technical archive for the Viridian setting created by @Oneirohero and co-developed by @Sandsa. If you have been directed here by someone from the Discord then feel free to look around and learn what you can and consider creating a character. If you have found yourself here by accident by a search engine or redirect, you're still free to look around however this wiki might not be much use to you without joining the Discord server.

All users may view the wiki without signing up first, however edit permissions are reserved only for authorised editors to prevent vandalism.

Viridian Setting Overview and Expectations

Viridian is a roleplaying server, if you wish to participate in events you must adhere to the guidelines set by Character Creation.
The administration reserves the right to add, edit and remove provisions at any time.

To play in the Viridian Discord you must know, understand and accept these conditions:

• You must be aged 16 or over to participate, this cavet is for the protection of minors in the continent of Europe.
  • Legal Exception: It may be that for those in America, they will need to be 18 or older to fulfill this same condition. If you are unsure, assume 18+ is the restriction.
  • Clarification: The server is not for porn or blatant adult content, being 16+/18+ is intended to allow users the freedom to express themselves without affecting minors, as long as it is tasteful.
• You must be willing and able to 'roleplay' as a fictional character under the setting guidelines, specifically a character made for, or adapted to the Viridian setting.
• You must be tolerant (or ideally, interested) in the concept of Macrophilia/Microphilia. The server is Macro/Micro friendly to the extent allowed by the setting, and enjoyed by those of the server.
• You must attempt to make regular contact and activity within the server, ideally checking in once or twice a week and actively participating (or attempting to play) twice a month.
  • Exception: You will not be punished for being unable to maintain contact due to extrenous circumstances, nor for giving notice of absence if you are a key player.
• Respect fellow players and admins and refrain from Toxic behavior, the Viridian server is for having fun, not being hurtful, hateful and otherwise unpleasant to be around.
  • Additionally: Extreme and illegal fetishes/kinks will not be tolerated, such as bodily fluids (watersports, scat) and those regarding sexual acts with animals and minors.

If you agree and adhere to the following conditions, this is a list of things you will be able to do within the Viridian roleplaying setting:

• Play as a tabletop-adventurer style character: whether they are completely new or adapted from characters you may already own.
  • The setting began as a Pathfinder campaign retrofitted as a Discord RP server, any experience with tabletop RPGs may help you create a character, otherwise you can ask!
• Play as a Giant character: there are options to play as giants, ranging from 10-18ft large-sized Bigfolk, to towering 48-60ft Giantfolk.
  • Clarification: Though giant races exist, the setting supports Giant versions of normal races (Human, Dwarf, Elf, Orc...etc)
• Play as a Small character: you may also choose to play as one of the Smallfolk, 1-3ft tall dependent on race choice.
  • On Normal characters: You are welcome to create human-sized characters if you so choose. There are many benefits for being human-sized that giants and smallfolk do not!
• Play as multiple characters: by this we mean, you are allowed to have more than one character for the setting. If you are unhappy with a character or can't decide, reroll!
• Create stories and adventures within Scratby City, Vermillion Hills or the Viridian Plains: A city hub and two continental regions to use as storyhooks to roleplay within.
• Character progression (LIMITED): slow progress is being made to give characters tangible benefits and progression through gear, resources and abilities.
  • Storywise: You may discuss to allow your character gain some assets within the setting to support their concept, such as their own home, place of work. Admin approval pending.
  • Clarification: For the most part, the server focused on story/character interaction roleplay. One shouldn't join purely for mechanical gains as it will not be enough!
• Be allowed to perform Mature-rated actions in character, such as swearing, violence, intimiacy/nudity, drug use...etc. The line is drawn to descriptive sexual acts and fetishes. This is not a Porn server.

• Character Creation: Describes a set of rules and guidelines for creating a character for the setting. Requires approval by an admin before being allowed into the setting proper.
• SPECIAL: Stat system used for Viridian roleplaying games.

• Races: A crude term to refer to notable and potentially playable sentient beings in the world's setting. Note: Common fantasy races may have different names for lore reasons.

• Arcadia: Another reality that mirrors ours, its reflection is relative to one's own perception.
• Macrogenesis: The term used to describe the phenomena of gigantification of individuals across all species.

• Scratby: A large city situated very close to the border of the Viridian Plains and Vermillion Hills commanded by Aelron Taegan.
• Morpheus Museum: An Observatory situated overlooking the Viridian Plains, said to be a place of Worship to the God of Circles.
