Overview

Dione Talorus is a Galactic-Level alien being who used to use his immense powers to act as a protector for his people. But when his home-planet was destroyed, he took the opportunity to go on his own to find a new home where he could live a more modest life. Although he has the potential to be a galaxy conquerer with little opposition, he has no interest in subjugating others or abusing his powers, though he may experiment and use them for recreational purposes.

Dione tries his best to integrate with Earth's society, even with it's metahuman population he stands out most of all. Attempts at avoiding trouble usually begin with being treated as a threat or by having to force him to use his powers to save people like the hero he used to be for his own people. His desire to remain anonymous spurred him to create an alter-ego, 'Titan'.

History

• Pre-Earth

Born on Planet Viros in the Milky Way Galaxy, a rare mutation in his early life granted him immense physiological potential and metapowers derived from the internal energies his body was capable of creating and manipulating. He was raised in a supportive community that only wanted him to become a beacon of hope and savior for their kind, this led the young man to become an iconic 'superhero' often called upon to deal with threats to law and order on scales big and small. Though Dione's power grew to the point that most problems were able to resolved quickly and with style, he soon began to lament the simple life he once led before his power became the defining part of his identity.

He continued the effort until a cosmic event beyond the scope of Dione's abilities tore his planet apart, in the short space of time his planet had left, he prepares a spacecraft with as much information as he could and took off with the other survivors. Instead of following the others, Dione used this opportunity to escape the clinginess of his people and set a course to a secluded part of the galaxy.

• First Contact

The best habitable planet he could find was Earth, inhabiting a civilisation that had not discovered faster-than-light technologies but was comfortably at the peak of 0th tier civilisation. One of the initial problems he encountered was that the size-difference between himself and the planet's inhabitants was vast, the world he chose to integrate with were only an inch tall compared to his colossal frame. And the gravity was so much lower than his own planet that his already immense strength was enhanced.

To avoid unwanted attention, he used his ability to shrink in size to a more manageable scale, though he would assume a height of ten feet tall, as any smaller required more effort than he found comfortable.

Physiological

• Super Strength

Dione physical prowess is unmatched,with incredible motor control he can lift objects like cars and trucks effortlessly and barge through brick walls with ease. While the upper limit to his strength has not been reached, the only difficulties he encounters is having the necessary leverage and grip to move heavy objects or creatures. He can use his strength to leap incredible heights as easily as one can jump off the ground normally. He has fine enough motor skills that he rarely ever worries about using more pressure than is required, possessing the tactile sensation to know when enough pressure is applied to have a firm grip upon it.

• Enhanced Durability & Regeneration

Dione bones, muscles and skin are super dense and tough. Low-grade weapons have virtually no effect upon his frame and impervious to non-superpowered blunt and sharp weapons. Even against firearms the pain factor is minimal at best, as ballistic rounds will bounce off his skin. His bones and joints can take immense amounts of stress, both from his super strength as well as from impact forces. He is highly resistant to forms of energy including heat, cold, radiation and energy. He will feel minor attacks but feel no pain from them, he will feel pain from higher-grade attacks. Any injuries he may suffer from attacks can heal at an incredible rate, damage to the skin can heal in seconds, organs and other vitals in minutes.

• Anatomical Superiority: No Air/Water/Food/Sleep, Immunity, Ageless

Dione's anatomy and immune system is perfected to the point where he no longer suffers from the effect of aging, physical and mental disorders or diseases. Though he can still be killed by outside forces, he will never perish by symptoms of natural causes. Though he is still early in his adulthood, he is aware that such immortality will soon become a problem in regards to caring and relating to others. In addition he finds that he does not require many resources that most beings need to survive, such as breathing suitable mixtures of air, to eat or drink for sustainance or even require rest or sleep. Dione finds the option to opt-out of such things as useful but forces himself to indulge in such activities as it makes him feel better as well as reaffirm his internal identity as relatable to the normal person. He barely remembers what it was like to feel tired or what hunger or thirst feels like and yet the thought of forgetting entirely worries him.

• Intelligence: Edict Memory, Multi-Tasking, Temporal-Perception

Dione has a brilliant mind capable of endless streams of thought, near-instant recollection of memories and information and the ability to accelerate his mentals processes to let him think faster to the point the world appears in slow-motion. Not only has he read and understood all of the scientific principles of designs of his home planet but he has the potential to use this knowledge in creative and original ways. He can choose whether to let the full raw power of his mind flow or shift into a lesser mindset that most normal people can relate to. Dione prefers the simpler state of mind but can tap into the higher functions of his brain at will without going full force.

• Reflexes: Super-Low Lag, Instinctual Reactions, Danger Sense

Dione has super-low latency in how he can react to incoming threats, he is able to move and adapt to dangers instinctively with a full-round reaction time of 1ms. His motorneurological state enables him to already take action to avoid, deflect or act against dangers or events as they transpire. Dione isn't always aware at that moment how he'll move but he knows if he subconciously wants to avoid danger he'll do so to the best his physical limitations will allow. His reflexes are often counter-posed by large and burly frame but it never impedes his ability to react quickly and efficiently.

Metapowers / Talents

• Flight

Dione can use his powers to levitate and fly, regardless of how he flies, he'll always act as if he were as heavy as he is on the ground. Thus his massive frame is often immovable to all except those with the strength to move him normally. He can remain in the air for as long as he desires without growing tired and can accelerate/decelerate even faster than he can using the ground. He can reach speeds of Mach 7 and higher in low-pressure environments but refrains going this fast at low altitudes as the pressure wave created could damage the environment and even kill living beings. To Dione, the power of flight is used sparingly as he enjoys the subtle locomotion of walking and running better than flying past everything.

• Psionics: Telepathy, Telekinesis, Empathy, Visions

Dione has incredible Psionic potential, able to use his mental prowess in a way that affects his environment and those within it. Starting with his power to speak to people's minds and also hear them speak into his (when he is willing), he can listen onto people's internal dialogue without them knowing if they do not possess extrasensory perception; as an Empath he can also feel the emotions and tone of someone's mental state. He can use his Psionics to physically manipulate objects with as much force as if he were using his own limbs, he can even augment his strength further by using both in unison. His Vision ability allows him to enter a hyper-sensitive state where he is able to witness reality in a different time and/or place to his own; to see into the near future, the past or even be aware of something happening at the very moment. A vision of any length can transpire in a mere moment and augments his danger senses.

• Physical Acceleration: Super Speed / Teleportation

Dione is capable of using his powers to accelerate the speed he can move by a staggering amount, when used in unison with his temporal-perception he can move as quickly in a slowed-down world as he would in its normal state. He can control the intensity of this effect to simply give him a small boost in running speed up to typical super-speedster levels. When performs over short distances, he can move so fast it can almost appear like teleportation, and with using certain other abilities it can almost be considered as functioning as so.

• Combat Expert

Dione had to train extensively as an Atlan-Prime to combat multiple powerful foes, often without weapons. He is adept at positioning himself as well as tempering his blocks and dodges to get the best opening against a skilled opponent. While not many are strong enough to even hurt him or resist a single strike of his attacks, he takes each fight seriously and never underestimates the effect a foe's attack might have on him. He is capable of using any melee weapons with decent proficiency and even use firearms and other exotic weapons where available, but can always rely on his own abilities when nothing else is available. Dione is capable of acrobatics that make the most use of his agility and has little problem with fighting styles of different types that can realistically be performed with his frame.

• Energy Creation & Manipulation

Dione is capable of producing energy within his own body and use it as a weapon. Including the ability to project and shape energy from his hands, eyes and any other part of his body. It if often yellow in colour like sunlight and can be as soft as a glow or a torch, and as powerful as the sheer brightness and intensity of a star. He can form it into concentrated beams or as projectiles. Because of how destructive this power is, he rarely uses it in crowded places except as it's more harmless variations.

• Size-Shifting

Dione can enlarge and shrink himself and his immediate surroundings (his possessions, touched objects) rapidly for an indefinite period of time. Resized objects are psionically protected from adverse effects of differing scale but otherwise behave as if they were that size. The smallest size he has become is 1cm for a micro-circuitry project, the largest he has become is well over 1032ft (314m), to combat a large-scale threat, he has not attempted to grow nearly as large on Earth in fear of destroying the environment and inspiring fear in others.
