Viridian: the Roleplaying Game/Setting

The Viridian system is a homebrew Virtual TableTop RolePlaying Game built on the Maptool client and also based on the homebrew setting of the same name. Viridian was created and is being developed by @AlienOvan for personal and limited use. The Viridian system uses javascript macros to create a semi-automated TTRPG framework which can be used to simplify down many game mechanics into clickable command buttons with at most, a bit of light data-entry to process correctly. This contrasts with traditional TTRPGs using game mechanics simplified to be able to be performed by humans in a reasonable period of time.

The Viridian setting is primarily set up to be a Fantasy-punk, a fantasy setting that is shifted ahead a hundred or so years ahead before the world's industrial revolution, an age known as the 'Age of Adventures'. The overarching narrative is based more around exploration than warring nations, though such thing are still a problem in that day and age. With advancements in living, warfare and recreation, the world is entering an age where commerce and new ventures are possible and the ability to explore distance lands is more achievable than ever. The world has a significant lore surrounding ancient titans of the past and a mysterious phenomenon of fantastical gigantism that swept across the populace, turning ordinary beings into giants. Because of this, a significant portion of the world's population are considered giants and even a great number of these towering individuals have built nations where they can live comfortably.
